Content (Composition)

• Active ingredient: Minoxidil 5% w/v (50 /mg/mL), a vasodilator that stimulates hair follicles and promotes scalp microcirculation.
• Solution base: Ethanol, propylene glycol, purified water—typical solvent system for topical minoxidil products

• Approved for androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss) — used to stimulate hair growth and halt further hair thinning

• Route & Application:
  • For external use only on the dry and intact scalp.
  • Always wash hands before and after application.
  • Apply the solution and gently massage with fingertips to aid absorption.
• Dosage & Frequency:
  • Use 10 sprays (~1 /mL) per application, twice daily (morning and evening).
  • Maximum 20 sprays (2 /mL) per day, regardless of bald spot size.
  • Usage guidance differs slightly by gender:
    • Men: Apply 1 /mL scalp twice daily.
    • Women: Apply 1 /mL of 5% solution twice daily, or if using 5% foam/aerosol, apply half a capful once daily.
• Treatment Duration & Expectations:
  • Initial increase in hair shedding may occur within 2–6 weeks — typically a sign of follicular response.
  • Soft, fine (vellus) regrowth may appear early, with thicker pigmented hairs developing over time.
  • Long-term continuous use is required to maintain regrowth; discontinuation leads to hair loss after about 3–4 months
