Seretide Accuhaler 50/100mcg is indicated for:
Regular treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 4 years and older.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents (≥12 years): One inhalation of 50 mcg salmeterol and 100 mcg fluticasone propionate twice daily.
Children (≥4 years): One inhalation of 50 mcg salmeterol and 100 mcg fluticasone propionate twice daily.
Administration:
Use the Accuhaler device to inhale the medication.
Do not exhale into the device.
After inhalation, rinse your mouth with water and spit it out to reduce the risk of oral thrush.
Precautions:
Do not use for acute asthma attacks; a fast-acting bronchodilator should be used instead.
Monitor for any signs of paradoxical bronchospasm; discontinue use if it occurs.
Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have a history of heart problems, high blood pressure, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
