• Active Ingredients:
  • Amiloride Hydrochloride: 5mg
  • Hydrochlorothiazide: 50mg

• Uses: Used to treat edema (swelling) of cardiac origin, hepatic cirrhosis with ascites (fluid accumulation in the abdomen), and hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients where potassium depletion might be a concern.
• Mechanism: Amiloride helps to reduce fluid retention by preventing sodium reabsorption in the kidneys, while Hydrochlorothiazide helps to reduce fluid buildup by increasing urine production.

1. Dosage: Take the tablet orally, as directed by your healthcare provider.
2. Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.
3. Consistency: Take the medication at the same time each day for better results.
4. Duration: Continue taking the medication as prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel well.
