Each mL of solution contains:
-Aflibercept: 40 mg
Indications:
-Neovascular (Wet) Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD): Used to treat adults with wet AMD, a condition that affects the central part of the retina.
-Macular Edema Secondary to Retinal Vein Occlusion (RVO): Used to treat visual impairment due to macular edema following blockage of retinal veins.
-Diabetic Macular Edema (DME): Used to treat visual impairment due to diabetic macular edema.
-Myopic Choroidal Neovascularization (myopic CNV): Used to treat visual impairment due to myopic CNV, a severe type of short-sightedness.
Instructions:
Dosage: The recommended dose is 2 mg aflibercept, equivalent to 0.05 mL. The treatment regimen varies based on the condition being treated.
-Wet AMD: One injection per month for three consecutive doses, followed by one injection every two months. The treatment interval may be adjusted based on visual and anatomic outcomes.
-Macular Edema Secondary to RVO: One injection per month. The interval between doses should not be shorter than one month.
-DME and myopic CNV: Follow the specific dosing regimen as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Administration: For intravitreal injection only. Must be administered by a qualified physician experienced in administering intravitreal injections.
