FreeScan Trak Nova system features SHINING 3D’s patented video photogrammetry (VPG), which eliminates the need for coded markers. By integrating photogrammetry technology with a calibration rod, it enables real-time marker verification through video capture. This ensures consistent volumetric accuracy and streamlines the setup process for efficient large-object scanning.

Since the FreeScan Trak Nova features two scanning sensors, you can first perform a large-area scan with UE Nova and then refine specific areas by switching to TE Nova for higher-resolution scanning. If using only TE Nova, the software offers Partial HD scanning, allowing resolution enhancement for intricate regions.
It is recommended to calibrate the system every two weeks. Additionally, if there are changes in operating temperature, location, or other environmental factors, calibration should be performed before scanning to ensure optimal accuracy.
