EE Series Electromechanical Level Measuring System
The EE300/EE400 Series is an electromechanical inventory level measuring system which uses state-of-the-art third generation weight & cable technology to periodically measure the level of liquid and bulk solid materials held in storage. The EE300/EE400 series level measuring system includes the EE300/EE400 sensor and available RCU remote control unit or MMS-TL PC-software.
The EE300/EE400 series electromechanical inventory level measuring system is a flexible inventory system that can consist of the EE300/EE400 sensor(s) only or can include the remote control unit (RCU) or MMS-TL materials management PC-software. The EE300 is a third generation weight & cable inventory level measuring sensor consisting of a sensing weight, heavy duty stainless steel cable, distance measuring component, position detection sensor and electronics (includes firmware). The EE300/EE400 electromechanical inventory level measuring system sensor detects the sensing weight status and measures the empty space distance within the vessel during a measuring cycle. Upon initiation of a measuring cycle the sensing weight and cable system is lowered into the vessel until the sensing weight contacts the material surface, which is detected by the position sensing system, then the sensing weight and cable system is raised and returned to the starting socketed position. When the measuring cycle is completed all EE300/EE400 electromechanical inventory level measuring system outputs and data are updated.
