The Joint Article Management Promotion-Consortium [JAMP] has developed a database system [JAMP tools] that enables manufacturers to declarethe usage of chemical substances to their customers. In general, the JAMP tools can be divided into two types, namely the MSDSplus and the Article Information Sheet [AIS]. All suppliers to the Japanese Brands are required to utilize the tools as a first step towards complying to the EU directives.
