Built-in Microchip
A built-in microchip allows for calibration data to be stored in the sensor as opposed to the meter. If the probe is connected to another hygrometer, the microchip transfers the stored calibration data and eliminates the need to recalibrate the instrument.
Internal Temperature Sensor
The integrated temperature sensor of the HI70602 is crucial for accurate humidity measurements. Since the temperature of air can drastically change the amount of moisture that it is able to hold, obtaining a fast, stable temperature measurement allows for a highly accurate relative humidity reading.
ABS Body
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is a strong, chemically resistant thermoplastic polymer. The electrical properties of ABS ensure that it is not affected by changes in temperature and atmospheric humidity.
