Contractors' All Risks (CAR) / Erection All Risks (EAR)

Provides an all risks cover during the construction period for contract works against loss or damage to property, third party liability for accidental bodily injury or property damage in connection with the performance of the contract, and delay in start up. This CAR/EAR policy can be bundled with a maximum of 18 months of early operations coverage.

CAR/EAR underwrites all of the following types of construction risks:

• Power generation and utilities
• Oil, gas and petrochemicals
• Chemicals and pharmaceuticals
• Manufacturing and process industries
• Residential
• Commercial
• Government
• Industrial
• Heavy civil works and infrastructure (Roadways, railways, bridges, dams, canals, tunnels, water and wastewater distribution, etc.)

This policy provides an all risks cover during the construction period for contract works against loss or damage to property and third party liability for accidental bodily injury or property damage in connection with the performance of the contract, other than by an excluded cause.
