Blason d' Aussieres is a cuvée from Chateau d'Aussieres characterized by perfectly ripe fruit, fresh aromas and a bold structure. The terroir of the estate makes the wine taste like a typical Corbières wine, but the quality is definitely top of the region. The wine is made from Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan.
The aroma is rich, dark fruits such as blackberries and undergrowth are mixed with toasted aromas. The aromas of red fruits and elegant tannins are immediately apparent in the mouth. The taste then becomes rounder with more complex spices and undergrowth notes. The length is moderate, ending with a harmonious balance between finesse and density.
The nose and taste, the taste of Mediterranean dry spices and ripe fruits, the wine is medium-bodied and the fruit is well balanced.
Pairing: grilled meats or stews.
Grape Varieties: Syrah 39%, Grenache Noir 35%, Carignan 19%, Mourvèdre 7%
