Terbutaline sulphate
Indication
Bronchial asthma. Chronic bronchitis, emphysema and other lung diseases where bronchospasm is a complicating factor.
Instruction
Adult & childn >12 yr 1puff as required, may be increased to 3puffs in severe cases. Max: 12puffs daily. Childn 3-12 yr 1puff as required, may be increased to 2puffs in severe cases. Max: 8puffs daily.
Drug interaction
β-blockers (including eyedrops) may inhibit bronchodilating effect, xanthine derivatives, steroids, diuretics.
