Mestinon Dragees 60mg contains pyridostigmine bromide as its active ingredient. It is used to treat myasthenia gravis, a condition characterized by muscle weakness and fatigue, especially with repeated use.
Indications:

• Myasthenia Gravis: Helps improve muscle strength and reduce muscle fatigue.

1. Dosage: The usual adult dose is 1 to 3 tablets (60-180 mg), 2 to 4 times daily, or higher doses if required. The total daily dose is usually in the range of 300-1200 mg.
2. Administration: Swallow the tablets whole with water. If you have difficulty swallowing, you can break the tablets into pieces.
3. Timing: Take the medication at regular intervals, at least 6 hours apart. It is recommended to take it at times when you need the most muscle strength, such as before meals or physical activities.
4. Consistency: Take it regularly, even if you feel better, and do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.
5. Monitoring: Regular check-ups with your doctor are necessary to monitor your progress and adjust the dosage if needed.
