Litfulo 50 mg Hard Capsules contain 50 mg of ritlecitinib tosylate, equivalent to 50 mg of ritlecitinib. Each capsule also contains 21.27 mg of lactose monohydrate as an excipient.
Indication:
Litfulo is indicated for the treatment of severe alopecia areata in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older. Alopecia areata is a condition where the body's immune system attacks hair follicles, causing hair loss.
Instructions:

1. Dosage: The recommended dose is 50 mg once daily. Treatment should be initiated and supervised by a healthcare professional experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of alopecia areata.
2. Monitoring: Regular monitoring of blood counts (platelets and lymphocytes) is required. Treatment should be interrupted if the absolute lymphocyte count (ALC) is less than 0.5 × 10^3/mm3 or if the platelet count is less than 50 × 10^3/mm3.
3. Precautions: Avoid use in patients with active infections, including tuberculosis. Do not use live vaccines during treatment.
4. Storage: Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
5. Missed Doses: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible unless it is less than 8 hours before the next dose, in which case skip the missed dose.
