Each tablet contains:
-Vildagliptin: 50 mg
Indications:
-Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It can be used:
-As monotherapy in patients for whom metformin is inappropriate due to contraindications or intolerance.
-In combination with metformin, sulphonylurea, or thiazolidinedione when monotherapy with these agents does not provide adequate glycemic control.
-In combination with insulin (with or without metformin) when diet and exercise plus a stable dose of insulin do not provide adequate glycemic control.
Instructions:
Dosage: The recommended dose is 50 mg twice daily. The dose may be adjusted based on individual efficacy and tolerability.
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the timing and duration of the medication.
