Each solution contains:
-Human Albumin: 200 g/L of human plasma protein, of which at least 96% is human albumin.
Indications:
-Hypovolemia: Used to restore and maintain circulating blood volume.
-Hypoalbuminemia: Used to treat low levels of albumin in the blood.
-Prevention of Central Volume Depletion: After paracentesis due to cirrhotic ascites.
-Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS): Used to manage OHSS.
-Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS): Used in the treatment of ARDS.
-Acute Nephrosis: Used in the treatment of acute nephrosis.
-Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn (HDN): Used in the treatment of HDN.
Instructions:
Dosage:
-The dosage varies based on the patient's condition and response.
-For hypovolemia, the typical dose for adults is 25 g.
-For hypoalbuminemia, the typical dose for adults is 50 to 75 g.
-For prevention of volume depletion after paracentesis, the typical dose for adults is 8 g for every 1,000 mL of ascitic fluid removed.
-For OHSS, the typical dose for adults is 50 to 100 g over 4 hours, repeated at 4-12 hour intervals as necessary.
-For ARDS, the typical dose for adults is 25 g over 30 minutes, repeated at 8-hour intervals for 3 days if necessary.
-For acute nephrosis, the typical dose for adults is 25 g together with a diuretic once a day for 7-10 days.
-For HDN, the typical dose is 1 g per kilogram body weight prior to or during exchange transfusion.
Administration: Administer by intravenous infusion. The solution should be given slowly to avoid rapid diuresis.
