Description
Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs) that incorporate Endexo (a proprietary polymer blend) into the polyurethane catheter shaft material to provide a shaft surface more resistant to accumulation of blood components; namely BioFlo PICCs.
The BioFlo PICC is packaged with a variety of commonly used procedural accessories, which are used for percutaneous introduction of the catheter. The BioFlo PICC is intended to be inserted, manipulated, and removed only by a qualified, licensed physician or other healthcare practitioner authorized by and under the direction of such a physician.
The device allows for repeated access to the central venous system for intravenous therapy for long term use for up to 30 days or more, for administration of fluids, medications and nutrients; the sampling of blood; and power injection of contrast media.

Catheter is marked in 1-cm and 5-cm increments

Hub/suture wing with 2 holes to accommodate the posts on the catheter securement device for catheter fixation on patient’s skin.

Clear extension tube(s) with an oversleeve and natural white or blue clamps, and nonvalved luer lock hub(s)

For use with power injectors settings up to 300 psi (non-valved)

Maximum recommended guidewire of 0.018 inch (0.46 mm)

All catheters are for single use only and sold sterile packaged in a lidded tray kit configuration.

Catheters are available in multiple kit configurations and with applicable accessories to aid in the insertion of these products
