Description
The first Scotch whiskey to be designated by the Royal Family.
In 1812 Captain William Fraser founded the Braquela Distillery. 21 years later, in 1833, Brackla Whiskey was brought to King William IV.
He was so impressed that he granted the distillery its first Royal Warrant and gave Fraser the right to incorporate the word ''Royal'' into the distillery's name, creating Royal Brackla. Since then we have been known as the ''Holy Drink'' and ''The King's Own Whiskey''.
