The RS PRO 4-core security cable is an ideal choice for when you need to run signal cabling to a closed-circuit TV camera or for other signal distribution. The unscreened flexible cable is made of the highest quality materials. The four cores each consist of seven strands of 0.19 mm² grade 1 tinned annealed copper, which have excellent resistance to corrosion. Each core is contained in PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation in black, red, blue or yellow.
Each core can handle up to 50 V and has a current rating of 1 A. The four cores are covered by a white PVC sheath. A convenient ripcord makes it easy to strip back the sheath to access the cores.
This multicore security cable can handle temperatures from -50°C to +70°C. It's flame-retardant and free of lead, tin and halogen, so it won't release harsh chemicals in the event of a fire. You'll find this cable in monitoring and surveillance systems across all industries.
