Distribute signals and run signal cabling to a CCTV camera with this 8-core security cable from the RS PRO range. Each core in this unscreened flexible cable is housed in PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation in black, red, blue or yellow. The eight cores are made up of seven strands of 0.19 mm² grade 1 tinned annealed copper, which is corrosion-resistant.
The eight cores are contained within a white PVC sheath and each one can cope with up to 50 V and has a current rating of 1 A. EThanks to a ripcord, you can easily strip back the sheath to access the cores.
Operational at temperatures between -50°C to +70°C, this multicore security cable has a variety of uses, including in monitoring and surveillance systems. In the event of a fire, it won't release harsh chemicals as it is free of lead, tin and halogen. It's also flame-retardant.
