Aripiprazole
Indication
Schizophrenia & acute manic episodes w/ bipolar I disorder.
Instruction
May be taken with or without food.
Drug interaction
Enhanced effect of certain antihypertensives. Increased clearance by CYP3A4 inducers eg, carbamazepine. Inhibited elimination by CYP3A4 inhibitors eg, ketoconazole or CYP2D6 inhibitors eg, quinidine, fluoxetine, paroxetine. Concomitant use w/ alcohol.
