The Solahart 302LF solar heater L Series is providing the most efficient water heating with the innovation of the black polyester powder coated aluminium absorber collects the sun's heat and transfers it to the water in the 7 risers. Copper tubing heater is used for the risers for its high thermal conductivity ensuring the maximum amount of heat energy is passed to the water. As the Solahart 302LF Solar water heater in the risers is heated, it rises into the tank to be replaced by cooler water from the tank. The solar heated water is then stored ready for use whenever you wish to get rid of fatigue with a hot shower.
The Solahart Solar Heater has a ceramic lined tank with a protective sacrificial anode. The L Free Heat features additional anode protection.

1. Which Model/Capacity to choose?
181LF (180 litres): Suitable for 1-5 people, with max. 3 bathrooms
302LF (300 litres): Suitable for 4 -8 people, with max. 6 bathrooms
**The calculation is based on a 6" shower head and 10 minutes for each person bathing.
**For guidelines only, result may vary on other factors. Eg: Bathing time, weather, water pressure, sizes of shower head, bathtub/jacuzzi.
2. Where to allocate the Solar Heater?
Highest of the building where the roof could fit the Solar Heater with the preferred direction accordingly to South - North - East - West. Recommend to install nearby the cold water tank because solar is getting the cold water from the tank and place the solar above a strong roof trusses.
3. What should I prepare before solar installation?
~ Hot & Cold water piping system with a half (0.5") inch stop cock nearby the solar system.
~ 15 amp Plug point required to be ready nearby the solar heater for backup heater use.
~ If water pump is required, should be installed before the solar installation.
4. What's the basic installation included?
- Three (3) meter of hot and cold stainless-steel piping for solar inlet and outlet.
- 3kW Backup electrical heater and thermostat
- Pressure temperature valve (PT Valve) to control the pressure
- Crane Charges for installation & dismantle old unit (if any)
5. What are excluded in basic installation?
Aluminium rack for flat roof installation, Water Pump, Mixer Taps, Extra hot/cold water pipes which more than 10ft, power point for back up heater
