INTRODUCTION
The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1994 (Act 514) requires organizations to provide learning, training, and awareness to all levels of employees. The recommended training program is appropriate for commercial and industrial locations with a significant number of employees who can be trained in crane safety measures. This course is an excellent way for management to fulfil various responsibilities under the relevant Occupational Health and Safety Act 514 requirements.
The training approach and contents are aimed to provide participants with an understanding of various crane safety operating techniques, such as pre-operational checks, rigging, slinging, and assessing and controlling operational hazards and risks at their workplace. This training also includes interaction and discussions with participants about why a large number of risky incidents emerge from inadequate acts and conditions.
