Indications:

Ventolin Nebules are used for:

• Relief of bronchospasm in conditions such as:

  • Asthma

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

  • Acute severe asthma (status asthmaticus)

  • Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm

Instructions:

• How to Administer:

  • Intended for nebuliser use only—do not inject or swallow.

  • Administer via nebuliser using a face mask or mouthpiece.

  • Can be used neat, or diluted with sterile normal saline if longer nebulisation time is desired

• Dosage:

  • Adults & Children ≥12 years: 2.5 /mg to 5 /mg, up to 4 times daily

  • Children (4–12 years): 2.5 /mg, up to 4 times daily

• Storage & Handling:

  • Store below 30 /°C, protected from light

  • Discard nebules 3 months after opening the aluminum foil tray

• Precautions:

  • Avoid use if allergic to salbutamol.

  • May cause side effects such as tremors, increased heart rate, nervousness.

  • Use with care in pregnancy, breastfeeding, or other concurrent medications
