Description
Multiplexers with two inputs which combine the head-end equipment outputs.
Each input of the multiplexers has a low or high pass filter for a group of channels.
Applications
Used to combine the output channels of the modulators or of satellite receivers in installations with a great number of channels.
The multiplexers
by channel groups make it possible to combine the different channels of the equipment, maintaining a high carrier to noise ratio.
By combining the seven available filters, a system of mixing channels is obtained using band pass filters with 8 groups of 11 channels. See the application example on page 153.
Characteristics
