Red Oxide Primer is an economical anti-corrosive primer based on oilmodified phenolic resin. As a primer suitable for use on all ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. It may be used as a temporary protective coating for up to 3 months – the primed articles exposed will have tendency to chalk; it has to be thoroughly cleaned, derusted and reprimed before final topcoat.
