In October 2016, Emerson introduced their next generation handheld communicator, the AMS Trex Device Communicator. As the AMS Trex communicator does everything that a 475 Field Communicator can – and more, the 475 Field Communicator is phase-out of production.

We encourage you to consider the AMS Trex communicator for your future needs. In addition to configuring smart instruments, AMS Trex offers new Apps for diagnosing issues in the field. The optional Device Communicator Plus module can power two-wire HART and FOUNDATION Fieldbus instruments directly from the handheld, eliminating extra tools and reducing work time. If you have an AMS Device Manager system, you can automatically sync your field data with your asset management database.
