This white wine from Spain is made entirely from Verdejo grapes, grown in the region of Rueda (North-Western Spain) and sold by hand. This grape variety, typical of the Rueda PDO and not widely cultivated in France, produces quality wines that are fruity, full-bodied and very aromatic.
Flor de Vetus is a beautiful example of verdejo, elegant, supple and fruity. A wine with many floral and delicate aromas, on a magnificent acidity.
The micro-parcel vineyards are located in the westernmost part of the Rueda PDO, on sandy soils, at an altitude of between 820 and 910m. Bodega Vetus has devoted its time and care to the vineyard, in order to offer a different wine, which will shine in your glass with its bright yellow and green tones.
To be enjoyed at 9°C
With the desire to offer modern wines that best express the personality of Spanish grape varieties, Vetus is produced with the same formula as the other Arto Vino properties in Rioja and the Ribera del Duero: environmentally friendly viticultural practices, the harvesting of perfectly healthy and ripe grapes and, of course, very precise vinification in facilities of rare modernity.
The aim is to offer a wine capable of expressing all the nuances of its Rueda terroir and the Verdejo grape variety.
