How to Select the Correct Rivet

1. Select rivet material based on strength needed, corrosion resistance and material to be joined.
*All Steel - High Strength. Use when joining steel to steel
*Aluminium - Medium Strength.Use with aluminium and where rust is a problem. Use larger sizes for higher strength.

2. Select river diameter.Larger diameters create stronger joints.

3. Select grip range based on the thickness of the material to be riveted.

4.Use washers when joining soft materials like leather or when hole is oversized.
