AUTOMA Y-Strainer is a device that mechanically remove dirts and solids from flowing liquids or gases through perforated metal or wire mesh straining element. This is to prevent the dirts or particals flowing through the valve to protect for example control valves, pumps, measuring equipments, from damage.

Y-Strainer can be installed in horizontal and vertical positions in the piping systems. The flow direction should be in accordance with marking on the body. This valve is widely used in process industries such as Palm Oil and Refinery Plant, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Oil and Gas Industries, Pulp and Paper Mill, Heating and Cooling System.
