Loperamide HCl
Indication
Control & symptomatic relief of acute nonspecific diarrhoea & chronic diarrhoea associated with inflammatory bowel disease.
Instruction
May be taken with or without food.
Drug interaction
Inform your doctor if you are takeing saquinavir (Invirase), quinidine, ritonavir. The two last medications are both P-glycoprotein inhibitors and their co-administration with YSP Loramide may result in increase in YSP Loramide plasma levels. Levels of saquinavir are decreased by concomitant intake of YSP Loramide.
