DIALYSIS MEMBRANE
Dialysis is a classic laboratory technique that relies on selective diffusion of molecules across a semi-permeable membrane to separate molecules based on size.
Dialysis is used for a wide variety of applications: desalting, buffer exchange, virus purification, blood treatment and etc.
FEATURES:
- Molecular weight cut-off: available in 3500, 7000, and 14,000 daltons
- PH stability range: stable in the pH range of 5 to 9
- Protein absorption: < 1 ng/g of dry membrane
- Temperature resistance: membranes can be sterile by autoclave
- Membranes with aqueous solutions can be frozen
