Penerangan

At A Star Kids, our curriculum embraces wide range of Montessori activities, focusing on hands-on learning across five key areas. These activities are conducted in fun, engaging ways that inspire children to explore and discover the world around them.

Practical Life
Practical Life exercises equip children with essential daily life skills. These activities are designed to provide real-life experiences, helping children develop independence, concentration and coordination. As children engage in these tasks, they build a sense of responsibility, confidence, and self-esteem, while refining their motor skills and gaining self-control.

Sensorial
Children learn about the world around them through their senses. Montessori Sensorial materials and activities are designed to refine the five senses—visual, auditory, tactile, gustatory, and olfactory—while helping children grasp abstract concepts. Children learn to distinguish differences in color, form, texture, size, and dimensions, strengthening their ability to compare, estimate, and perceive. This foundation is essential for their future work in mathematics.

Cultural
Montessori Cultural open children’s minds to the world around them by incorporating Science, Geography, Botany, Zoology, and General Knowledge. Children engage with interactive materials and topics, allowing them to manipulate objects and engage in discussions that foster a deeper understanding of their environment.

Language
Phonics and early grammar skills are introduced through Montessori apparatus such as sandpaper letters, object boxes, and movable alphabets. These activities encourage children to connect auditory, tactile, and visual inputs, strengthening their ability to recognize letters. Fun, interactive language exercises lay the foundation for literacy and develop strong reading and writing skills.

Number Works
Mathematics can be abstract, but our Montessori materials make it concrete. Young children develop pre-mathematical skills—such as size discrimination, sequencing, and comparison by working with tangible Mathematics apparatus.
Montessori Number Works allow children to explore concepts of addition and subtraction through hands-on experiences. As they progress, children move from manipulating materials to understanding abstract mathematical concepts, preparing them for formal schooling with a solid grasp of problem-solving and mental calculations.
