DEFUNGO 0.1G (VAGINAL TABLET) contains 0.1 g of Clotrimazole as its active ingredient. It is an antifungal agent used to treat infections caused by fungi, such as vaginal discharge2.
Indication:
DEFUNGO is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections (vaginitis) caused by fungi, typically Candida species, and superinfections caused by Clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria.
Instructions:

1. Insertion: The tablet should be inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina. This is best achieved when lying back with your legs bent up.
2. Dosage: For the first infection, insert one tablet into the vagina for three consecutive nights. For reinfection, insert one tablet into the vagina for six consecutive nights. If necessary, two tablets can be used, one in the morning and one in the evening for 6-12 days.
3. Timing: Treatment should be timed to avoid the menstrual period and be finished before the onset of menstruation.
4. Precautions: Do not use tampons, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using this medication. Avoid vaginal intercourse during treatment to prevent partner infection.
5. Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands before and after using the medicine.
