Content:

• Active Ingredient: Lamivudine 300 mg per tablet.

• Primary Use: Treatment of HIV infection in adults and children, and chronic hepatitis B infection.
• Mechanism: Lamivudine belongs to a group of antiviral agents called nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). It works by inhibiting the DNA synthesis of retroviruses, including HIV, through competitive inhibition of reverse transcriptase and incorporation into viral DNA.

• Dosage for Adults and Adolescents: 300 mg once daily or 150 mg twice daily, with or without food.
• Dosage for Children: Dosage is adjusted based on body weight and kidney function.
• Precautions: Do not use if you are allergic to lamivudine or any of the excipients. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Regular monitoring of liver function and kidney function is recommended.
• Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
