Content:
- Active Ingredient: Prednisolone Acetate 25 mg per ml.
- Preservative: Benzyl Alcohol 10 mg/ml.
Indications:
- Primary Use: Treatment of rheumatic and other inflammatory conditions. It is suitable for parenteral administration by the intramuscular route.
- Mechanism: Prednisolone Acetate works by decreasing or preventing tissue responses to inflammatory processes, thereby reducing the development of symptoms of inflammation.
Instructions:
- Dosage: The recommended dose is 5-25 mg depending on the size of the joint. The injections may be repeated when relapse occurs.
- Administration: For intra-articular or intramuscular injection.
- Precautions:
- Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to prednisolone or any other ingredients.
- Use with caution in patients with congestive heart failure, peptic ulcer, active tuberculosis, acute bacterial or viral infection, and patients undergoing vaccination.
- For intra-articular injection: Avoid in cases of arthroplasty of joint, blood clotting disorders, fracture, infection, osteoporosis, and unstable joint.
- Storage: Store below 30°C. After reconstitution, use within 24 hours and keep at a temperature below 30°C
