Indications
Prismasol 2 mmol/l Potassium is used for:
Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) in patients with acute kidney injury.
Haemodialysis and haemofiltration to correct electrolyte imbalances and acid-base disturbances.
Treatment of hyperkalaemia (high potassium levels).
Management of drug poisoning involving dialysable or filterable substances.
Instructions
Preparation: The solution is provided in a two-compartment bag. Before use, the compartments are mixed to form the final reconstituted solution.
Administration: It is used as a dialysis or replacement solution in CRRT. The flow rate and volume depend on the patient's clinical condition and are determined by the prescribing physician.
Storage: Store below 30°C and protect from light.
