Content:
Blocamine contains 5 mg/ml of labetalol hydrochloride. It also includes excipients such as anhydrous dextrose, disodium edetate, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium hydroxide and/or citric acid, and water for injection.
Indications:

• Severe Hypertension: Including severe hypertension during pregnancy when rapid control of blood pressure is essential.
• Hypotensive Anaesthesia: When a hypotensive technique is indicated during surgery.
• Hypertensive Episodes Following Acute Myocardial Infarction: Managing high blood pressure after a heart attack.

1. Administration: Administer via intravenous (IV) injection or infusion.
2. Dosage: Follow your doctor's prescription. The dosage may vary based on the patient's condition and response to treatment.
3. Position: Patients should be in a supine or left lateral position during administration.
4. Monitoring: Blood pressure should be monitored regularly during and after administration.
