SciTropin A 5mg/1.5ml (15 IU) Cartridge Solution for Injection contains 5 mg of somatropin (recombinant human growth hormone) in a 1.5 ml solution. Somatropin is identical to the growth hormone naturally produced by the body and is used to treat growth hormone deficiency and other conditions that cause short stature or growth failure.
Indications:

• Growth Hormone Deficiency: Treatment of children with growth hormone deficiency.
• Turner's Syndrome: Managing growth retardation in girls with Turner's Syndrome.
• Chronic Renal Insufficiency: Treating growth retardation due to chronic renal insufficiency.
• Prader-Willi Syndrome: Managing growth retardation in children with Prader-Willi Syndrome.
• Short Bowel Syndrome: Treating growth retardation in children with short bowel syndrome.
• HIV-Associated Wasting or Cachexia: Managing growth failure in children with HIV-associated wasting or cachexia.
