1. Dosage: The typical dose is 100 micrograms, which can be repeated until the desired effect is attained. For continuous infusion, the initial dose is 25 to 50 micrograms per minute, which can be adjusted up to 100 micrograms per minute to maintain systolic blood pressure.
2. Administration: Administer by intravenous bolus injection or continuous intravenous infusion. Only healthcare professionals with appropriate training should administer this medication.
