DESCRIPTION
CRC Soft Seal is a long-term indoor/outdoor corrosion inhibitor designed for machined surfaces and assemblies subjected to extended storage or adverse shipping conditions. It displaces moisture and forms a transparent, amber waxy film that provides heavy protection against heat, humidity, and corrosive atmospheres. Ideal for safeguarding equipment during shipping, even when exposed to salt spray and other corrosive environments.
Durable Protection: Forms a flexible, non-brittle coating that resists cracking and crazing.
Corrosion Resistance: Withstands over 400 hours in salt spray tests (ASTM B117).
Material Compatibility: Safe for use on plastics, rubber, paint, and insulation materials.
Easy Application & Removal: Can be reapplied over existing films and removed with CRC Brakleen or mineral spirits.
Temperature Range: Effective from -20°C to +100°C.
