BELZONA-1591 was designed originally for the offshore oil and gas production industry, where problems of salt water corrosion and chemical attack are intensified by ever-increasing operating temperatures, this product also provides solutions to industries such as petrochemical, power, and metal processing by offering:

• Corrosion protection at immersed conditions at temperatures in excess of 180ºC (356ºF)
• Resistance to wide range of aqueous and hydrocarbon mixtures, high pressures, and erosion
• Ability to post cure in service requiring no additional external heating equipment

Applications include

• High temperature epoxy coating for process vessels, distillation columns, heat exchangers, clarifiers and scrubber units
• Repair of damaged linings on equipment operating at high temperatures including glass flake and other epoxy coatings
• Linings for pump casings, valves and other equipment
