Polyurethane membrane is a single-component, liquid-based membrane which is specially formulated for application via squeegee, brush, or roller without the need for on-site mixing. This waterproofing membrane is bitumen modified along with moisture-curing properties which when cured, provides a highly elastomeric texture and an impervious barrier to moisture.
It is mostly used across wet-prone areas such as rooftops and retaining walls as this waterproofing method provides superior protection against penetration and lateral movement of water. It is best applied as a concealed waterproofing membrane which must be laid over by a layer of protection screed immediately after its application to ensure longer durability and quality finishing for the membrane.
