The flanged electric motor is coupled by an elastic coupling.
Cooling is achieved by forced air via a centrifugal fan.
An integrated check valve prevents the oil from coming back and the return of air into the chamber to be pumped down during the stop phase.
The separation of the oil mists from the exhaust air takes place in the TMF separator filter (optional). The separated oil is recovered from the pump by precipitation. This happens when the pump is not working or during its operation at maximum vacuum, i.e. with closed inlet.
An adjustable gas ballast prevents condensation inside the pump when small quantities of steam are sucked.
The PHV 5 K, PHV 10 K, PHV 20 K, PHV 30 K pumps are suitable for the evacuation of closed systems or to operate at a constant vacuum of up to 1 x 10-3 mbar (absolute).
