Description
ES flashing is ideal for a fit of the window with flat roof coverings such as asphalt, bitumen & chippings up to 10mm (2 x 5mm) thickness. It is applied to individual windows in the slope of the roof.
It may also be used as flashing for windows used in combination or groups:
-
for V level in vertical, horizontal and groups
-
for J level horizontal combinations only.
This flashing allows the window to be installed at two different levels in the construction of the roof: V (0cm), J (–3 cm). The standard level for installing a window with ES flashing is V - version ESV. Can be used on roofs with pitches between 15° and 90° for level V and 20° and 90° for level J.
Constituents of the flashing:
The flashing is made up of four basic elements. The bottom part has a plastic mat glued on the underside. This allows the flashing to adhere to the roof covering, ensuring a neat fit.
Flashing parts:
1 — top part of the flashing
2 — bottom part of the flashing
3 — side parts
4 — aluminium strips to fix the flashing
