Elderflower syrup

Pure sugar syrup made from natural aroma of elderflower and lemon concentrated juice.

Tasting Notes

Amber colour.

Very scented aroma. Lemon and lychee notes.

Subtle and refreshing flavor.

Floral and slightly acidic notes.

How to drink it?
Dilute with water.
In cocktails or to flavour beer and lemonade.
Nice combinations : elderflower/beer- elderflower/cranberry.
 

Recipes with Elderflower syrup

Elderflower Lemonade

Ingredients

• 20 ml Elderflower syrup
• 20 ml Lemonade Base Syrup
• fill with water / soda water

Preperation
Difficulty level: *

• Glass: mason jar
• Method: build
• Ice: cubed
• Garnish: mint sprig

1. Ice up the glass
2. For the ingredients
3. Briefly stir gently
4. Garnish & serve

Angelic


Cocktail created by 8 international bartenders during a workshop led by Fernando Castellon.

Ingredients

• 20 ml Gin
• 20 ml Rhubarb Liqueur
• 10 ml Elderflower syrup
• 20 ml Aperol or other Italian bitter liqueur
• 20 ml lemon juice

Preperation
Difficulty level: ***

• Glass: cocktail
• Method: shake
• Ice: -
• Garnish: lemon zest

1. Add the ingredients to a shaker
2. Ice up 2/3 of the shaker with cubed ice
3. Shake vigorously for 7 to 10 seconds
4. Strain into a chilled glass with no ice
5. Garnish & serve

Cranberry Flower


Ingredients

• 40 ml Vodka
• 20 ml Elderflower syrup
• 20 ml pineapple juice
• 20 ml cranberry juice

Preperation
Difficulty level: ***

• Glass: cocktail
• Method: shake
• Ice: -
• Garnish: -

1. Add the ingredients to a shaker
2. Ice up 2/3 of the shaker with cubed ice
3. Shake vigorously for 7 to 10 seconds
4. Strain into a chilled glass with no ice
5. Serve

• 15 ml Elderflower syrup
• fill with sparkling wine
