JP OOBA
OHBA (Oh-Bah) This herb has beautiful large leaves, it’s also known as SHISO (Shee-Sow), which means “big leaf” with serrated edges. It is often found beneath, or in between slices of sashimi or sushi. Its bright, fresh flavor, which somewhat resembles basil. Besides being very tasty, this herb has large amounts of calcium and iron, making them a great healthy addition to salads, soups, and stews. The herb is also rich in vitamin A, which may lower the risk of developing certain types of cancer.
