The PTB-915 Audit Test Bed is a 3'' x 6'' for use with PRS-801B Resistance System, PRS-812B Resistance Meter or PAS-853B Resistance Audit System. It is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used for multiple purposes.
Frequently, if you are making point to point measurements on either a worksurface or flooring, you can verify that your 5lb electrodes are functioning properly by testing their resistance on the conductive metal side of the PTB-915.
If you were to test materials such as packaging or tape reels you could use the PTB-915 and other probe attachments (such as a PRF-911, PRF-912B or PRF-922B) in conjunction with the PRS-801B or PRS-812B. For example, the insulative side would be used for testing resistance across two points of a material if it is placed on the test bed and two test points are made across the material.
