Auto lock works by using sensors to detect when a door has been closed. Once the sensor detects that the door has been fully closed, it triggers the locking mechanism to engage automatically. In some cases, the auto lock feature may also be programmed to engage after a certain amount of time has elapsed, such as 5 seconds.
