The YT-73086 universal meter with an automatic range for each measurement allows you to perform basic and advanced electrical measurements. The distinguishing function of the multimeter is the detection of phase sequence, which allows you to quickly check the correctness of connecting the device directly to a three-phase power source.

MEASURING ACCURACY
Example of Accuracy Determination for AC Voltage Measurement. Calculations for the measurement result: 235V
The measurement accuracy of the YT-73086 meter for this range is: ±(1.0% + 5), resolution 0.1V
Calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 1%) + 5 x resolution
Calculation: (235 x 1%) + 5 x 1 = 2.35 + 0.5 = 2.85V
Result taking into account the measurement error for the indication 235V = 235 ± 2.85V*
The result taking into account the measurement error for the DC voltage measurement indication: 12V = 12 ± 0.126V
result taking into account the measurement error for the indication of alternating current intensity measurement: 8A = 8 ± 0.34A*

*The YT-73086 meter does not have the true rms measurement function, therefore the above result is the real effective value of the AC voltage only for the correct sine wave.
BUILT-IN FUNCTIONS
AUTO - automatic adjustment of the measurement range. When measuring unknown values with a multimeter that is manually ranged using the dial, make measurements sequentially from the largest range to the range that gives the most accurate result - otherwise you risk damaging the multimeter. However, in the case of a multimeter with the AUTO function, it is enough to make one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range.
RANGE - manual change of the measurement range. A useful function when checking many of the same components with a known value, e.g. a series of resistors. Manual range setting will shorten the time of such measurements significantly.
FUNC - changing the measurement mode, e.g. from AC to DC voltage measurement, switching the diode test to the circuit continuity test
REL - using the function during the measurement will reset the display and adopt the value visible before the display as the reference level. The next measurement will show the difference between the measured value and the stored reference value.
HZ% - the button in the position of the knob for frequency measurement will change the settings to the duty cycle measurement
DATA HOLD - keeping the currently measured value on the display
