KTH White Undercoat Paint 701 Industrial Primer

701 UNDERCOAT WHITE is one component high build alkyd solvent based primer. It has good filling properties to wooden surfaces and good build to metal substrate. It gives low gloss finishing to painted surfaces.

Applications

• As primer in a multi-coat coating system. Most suitable for use in wooden surfaces, metal, GI and etc.

Composition

• Pigment: Titanium dioxide pigment
• Binder: Long oil alkyd resin
• Solvent: Hydrocarbon

• Density: 1.25 – 1.31
• Volume Solid: 65 ± 5%
• Viscosity: 65 ± 5 KU at 30°C
• Coverage: 8 – 11 m2/litre
• Colour: White

Coating Properties

• Recommended Dry Film Thickness: 50 - 80 microns per coat
• Recommended Numbers of coat: Two
• Drying Time: Touch Dry – 60 mins, Dry to handle – 4 to 6 hours
• Recoating interval: At least 8 hours
• Curing Time: 2 – 3 days
